Echoes From Below is a series of three mystery book covers. Included are end sheets for each book and a full description of the story. Part two of this project was to create a book signing poster and digital banner for one of the covers.

Cover #1: Hand-illustrated with equal emphasis on imagery and typography
Cover #2: Image-dominant, designed to look like ripped newspaper using Photoshop
Cover #3: Type-dominant, featuring embossed-style typography for a bold, tactile effect

Description: Scarlett, a young woman in her late twenties, inherits her grandmother’s old cottage in the town of Willow Creek. Eager to renovate the neglected property and start fresh, Scarlett begins digging in the overgrown backyard to plant a garden. As she digs, her shovel strikes a rusty whistle buried beneath the soil. Little does she know, the whistle holds a dark secret connected to a long-forgotten scandal involving a missing person.  

As she investigates, Scarlett unravels a web of mysteries, unearthing hidden truths about the community’s past and exposing eerie echoes of silence that have been buried for decades.
